I am not strong, I wish I was. So I am using the Post-It On Fridge Method to wean myself off my Frenchman.
Here’s how it works: every day, instead of emailing my Frenchman and backtracking, I put a post-it on the fridge to remind me of why I broke up with him. There are only 4 post-its so far because I only came up with the idea in week 2.
– I deserve better
– Doesn’t call me
– Can’t express his feelings
I look forward to what the rest of the week will bring. But so far I like how I’m keeping it polite. Nothing a bottle of wine couldn’t change.
I figure once the entire fridge is covered in post-its, I should be good. If not, I’ll start on the freezer.
